What a year!!

Wow, was für ein verrücktes Jahr für Moonplain! Wir können mit Stolz auf das erfolgreichste Jahr überhaupt zurückschauen: Plattenvertrag, Album Release “The Voice In Your Head”, 2 Singles “Higher” und “One Flower”, Video, MTV, Viva, tausende Airplays, zahlreiche Radio-Interviews, ein Gig als Supporting Act von Snow Patrol und als Krönung: die besten Fans, die man sich wünschen kann! Danke!!
Trotzdem kommt mit dem Jahresende auch eine Veränderung: Ruggero ‘Rugy’ De Pellegrini, unser Bassman, hat sich entschieden, andere Wege zu gehen, um mehr Zeit für seine anderen Interessen und Leidenschaften einsetzen zu können. Wir danken ihm für seinen jahrelangen und unermüdlichen Einsatz für Moonplain und wünschen ihm alles Gute und viel Erfolg! Er wird online unter rdp-photo.net (ein exzellenter Fotograf dieser Kerl!) und auf Twitter als ‘rugydp‘ zu finden sein.
Wir sind bereits mit unserem neuen Bassisten am Proben und freuen uns auf ein 2010 in neuer Besetzung. Alle Details dazu erfährt Ihr im nächsten Jahr.
Wir wünschen allen eine besinnliche Weihnachtszeit und ein frohes, neues Jahr.

Wow, what a crazy year for Moonplain! Prideful we look back to a very successful year: record deal, album release “The Voice In Your Head”, two singles “Higher” and “One Flower”, video clip, MTV, VIVA, thousands of airplays, many radio interviews, a gig as supporting act for Snow Patrol and finally: the best fans we could ever wish for! Thank you very very much!!
Nevertheless the end of 2009 brings in some changes. Ruggero “Rugy” De Pellegrini, our bass man, decided to leave the band to get more time for his other interests and passions. We’d like to thank Ruggero for his total commitment during the last years and wish him best of luck and success! You can still find Ruggero on rdp-photo.net (excellent photographer this guy!) and follow him on twitter “rugydp“.
Moonplain is already doing the first rehearsals with the new bass man and we look forward to a great new year with the new cast. Please stay in touch to get more details next year.
